So I was all like ‘I want a credit card’ and ChevronTexaco was all like ‘LOL NO ROFL NUBCAKEZ’
I’ve got to establish my credit or else I can’t do much in life. But how are you supposed to do that if you can’t get a credit card?!
I don’t get it. Am I not supposed to get it?
Either way… I’ve been having fun now that I discovered my plasma globe works. I bought it on clearance for $15 (cash, of course) a couple of months ago at Wal-Mart and it sat in the box for the longest time because I thought it didn’t work. I grew bored the other night at work and decided I should take it out of the box and try it one last time. This time that sucker lit up! So today I looked up how one of those things work. It was quite intriguing and then I saw a picture of a guy holding a fluorescent light bulb near one. For those of you who don’t know, and never learned this in physics lab (because I didn’t), plasma globes are powered on several thousand volts of high-frequency electrical pulses. This is so strong that a powered up plasma globe creates a field of electrical interference around it. This interference will excite the mercury gas inside a fluorescent light bulb, which will make the coating inside the tube glow. I’ve been doing it ever since I found a light bulb to play with. It does well at lighting up a full 48-inch bulb, but that’s too cumbersome to take anywhere with me. I found a smaller bulb at my house and now it’s a traveling show!
I’m gonna go take a nap or something.

[...] wait… they said yes?! September 16, 2007 at 3:18 am | In Follow-up, Life | I lamented a while back about ChevronTexaco denying me a gas card. Apparently my credit sucked or something. [...]
