Apple must hate Linux

I’m a Linux user.
I had to hijack a Windows computer to upgrade my iPod touch to version 2.0 this weekend. And now I’m curious about MobileMe, but that didn’t last long. Wanna know why?

What gives, Apple? You could make a lot more money (and friends) if you just supported Linux. I mean, come on. You ported iTunes to Windows. How hard could it be to port to Linux? I mean, OS X is a UNIX system, just like Linux. What the hell is the holdup? And by the way, I am using Firefox 2 or later. There should be no difference.
I’m not very happy with Apple right now.

Because Apple is a self righteous control freak. They have the polar opposite ideals to Linux. Apple’s closed source, supreme control, overcharging, and rigid OS vs Linux’s open souce, what control…?, Linux distros are free, OS flexibility. See my point? They only allow Windows support for iPods because if they did not, they would have cut themselves off from such a large group of consumers. And to add to their sleaziness, they vehemently lambaste Windows based systems, yet they implement things like right-click, Intel processors, allowing a Mac version of Microsoft Office, AND LET’S NOT FORGET BOOTCAMP!! To top all that off, they arrogantly employ the “it’s cool to get a Mac” advertisement scheme to attract a hoard of ignorant customers who place so much value in ‘what’s cool’. The people who are so unintelligent or lazy that they can’t seem to learn how to use any computing system other than a Mac, because you don’t have to be a fricking genius to know how to operate computers on a standard level. Most GUIs are intuitive these days. Just read the prompts and help files before you freak.
Sorry, I’ve been ranting, but ffffffff this annoys me.
