Entries for the ‘Follow-up’ Category

I found it… now what?

So, a couple of entries back I talked about this thing that’s going wrong with my car. I was bored today so I figured I’d jack it up and see what was going on, and I think I’ve traced the problem to its source. The only thing is I have absolutely no clue what to [...]

One year ago today

Open sesame.

I think I should open up more and write a bit more. I mean, it does pass the time. Maybe I can hone my skills and be an actual blogger, that is of some use to this world. I can only hope.
Since the last time I blogged, I’ve ditched Windows completely, another famous person I [...]

The birthday, the death, ANOTHER migration and upcoming changes

I’m 20 now.
Yep. You know it. And for the third year in a row, I can honestly say my birthday sucked. I had to work… it was just like any other day. At least there’s hope for 21, which as of this writing is 358 days away and is the last one to have any [...]

The migration continues

I apologize for writing so much about this. It seems like it’s so unimportant to other people but right now it’s the only thing going on. It’ll eventually stop.
So to follow up, I looked at how hard it would be to implement virtual email hosting on this server. It’s not easy [...]

Forget the pie

I have deleted my Yuwie account. They really play up the potential to make money there but I don’t have the time or the patience to do it. I would have to be someone I’m not or be an attention whore. I can’t do that. As a result, goodbye Yuwie.

It’s over.

Fletcher’s concession speech is at 10 PM EST. I’ll be watching.

Flickr set of the tornado damage

I managed to get a few shots of the damage left by last week’s EF3 tornado here in Owensboro. Right now it doesn’t look as bad since there has been a lot of cleanup going on, but right after it happened it looked as if a bomb went off downtown.

Traffic spike; Linux woes; LiMPtop

I like how I have blog posts with three main topics and the semicolonated (is that a word?) titles. Let’s get right to it.
The past couple of days, this very blog has had an incredible spike in traffic. After investigating I’ve found that it’s likely related to the recent release of Pidgin 2.2.0. You know… [...]

So once again, I was all like ‘I want a credit card’ and Capital One said… wait… they said yes?!

I lamented a while back about ChevronTexaco denying me a gas card. Apparently my credit sucked or something. It must be getting better, because I managed to get instant approval for a Capital One card earlier. I have to admit, that feels good. Now for a solid year of charging a few dollars a month [...]
