Riding it out

In anticipation of this BMFWS coming this week, Nathan and I plan on riding it out in the Loch Raven Building and broadcasting live on the internet.

Politics links, 10/20/2008

Since this is the first time I’ve done this, I’ll just tell you that I’ll write a short paragraph followed by a link for more reading.
Okay, so if you read my blog, you know I’m not a big fan of Tom Cole (guess the party-OK) and the NRCC for obvious reasons, see my post “Another [...]

A slice of the pie

So today, I saw a bunch of spam posts on Facebook about Yuwie, yet another social networking site that (supposedly) pays you a cut of the ad revenue they make on your profile views. I Googled it to see if it was real, and lo and behold, it was…
Either way, after watching this lame intro [...]

Crazy startup idea

Just saw this on CNET News. I still don’t get it, though. Can anyone explain?

An absolute must listen

See these guys?
They’re an intensely popular DJ duo from London. Hal Ritson and Cameron Saunders. Separately, they’re regular guys. But together, they call themselves The Young Punx. One of their tracks were in the FIFA ‘07 game from EA.
Either way, they have new music. This is the title track to their new album, “Your Music [...]

uBrowser

This is another Mozilla-based browser by Linden Lab, the creators of Second Life. It’s kinda slow but worth a look. If you’re ready to move beyond tabs into the world of 3D [...]

Murdoch? Feelings? Nahhhh.

I thought this was one of the funniest things I have ever seen out of a CNN blogger.
Media Biz Murdoch gives Dow Jones the Page Six treatment «
Still, Wall Street eagerly awaited what his Rupertness had to say about his new toy, Dow Jones. During the call, Murdoch joked that as the merger [...]

Songbird 0.2.5

This is the new mashup. Music player and web browser. Convenience to the max. It looks eerily like iTunes but I guess that’s to be expected. I also don’t like that you can’t right-click in the browser window. Perhaps this will be fixed by the final release (eh, Songbird devs?) Overall, it’s a great use [...]

LOL!

So, my buddy Trevor from high school got himself a summer job.

It’s creepy being able to watch him on a webcam all day… I also like how they engineered the site to reflect his personality. I like it.
