He’s the chief meterorologist at WEHT (channel 25, 11 on cable) and when bad weather is around, he’s the go-to guy for the latest info. What you may not know about Wayne is that before WEHT, he was on WLKY up on Louisville. He came onboard there in 1989 in a flurry of well-publicized TV promos. For some reason, probably due to the name he has made for himself in this area, I cannot see how they got away with making him do this. Playing on his last name is bad enough, but the promos are disgusting. Wayne Hart is a professional and has saved many lives with his work. If I end up moving to Louisville, I’ll never trust WLKY, that’s for sure.
